This is to say a very big thank you for the animal encounter experience you provided for our son Ben's birthday. It was a really unique afternoon and the kids were clearly in their element, transfixed by the animals and the lively and informative talk about their background, habitat, likes and dislikes.
The selection of animals was inspired, from the cute and cuddly to the more exotic and out of the ordinary. It was great to see all the children handling the snake and the giant snails, some of them overcoming fears or seeing these creatures up close for the very first time. The whole session was very well organised and structured and something everyone will remember for a very long time to come.

I would like to thank Angela for bringing your animals to St. Nicholas School. The children enjoyed the experience of touching and comparing the different animal skins. Each had their favourite, though most remember Mildred relieving herself in the race against George.
The children who were adventurous enough to have the snake around their neck were eager to tell parents, which was a general reflection on wanting to tell anyone who would listen about the animals. Our head had a detailed description from many when she returned in the afternoon. This shows a keen interest and much learning from the talk and animals themselves.
As we are a large class, for each child to have a feel, very few backed away,time was stretched, but Angela and the animals were very patient and anxious that the children see all the animals and we appreciate the extra time she spent with us.
Thank you for visiting our school and allowing photos as a reminder of the occasion and we look forward to working with you again in the future.
